A tasty replacement for spaghetti Ingredients:
1 large spaghetti squash |
1 lb sausage |
5 garlic cloves, minced |
24 ounces crushed tomatoes |
24 ounces diced tomatoes |
1/2 cup dry red wine |
3 teaspoons capers |
3 teaspoons fresh oregano |
3 teaspoons fresh basil |
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes |
4 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped |
4 green onions, finely chopped |
3 red onions, minced |
1/3 cup olive, sliced |
1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped |
3 cups sliced mushrooms |
4 red bell peppers |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage and strain out. 2. Sauté onions in remaining grease. 3. Add garlic and green onions for 2 minute. 4. Add mushrooms till cooked down. 5. Add bell peppers and carrots for 3 minute. 6. Add meat back inches. 7. Add Diced tomatoes then herbs then wine, cook for 1 minute. 8. Add Crushed tomatoes then remaining ingredients. 9. Simmer for 30 minutes. 10. Add Spaghetti squash. 11. EAT! |
