Spicy Shrimp With Wasabi Cocktail Sauce |

This would make a great New Year's appetizer. It's pretty spicy, but can be adjusted for your own taste. Ingredients:
24 large shrimp (16/20 count, shells on) |
4 tablespoons old bay seasoning |
4 tablespoons cajun seasoning |
1 1/2 cups beer |
wasabi sauce |
1 teaspoon brown sugar |
1/8 teaspoon wasabi paste, or to taste |
1/8 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 cup ketchup |
Directions:
1. Toss shrimp with seasonings and refrigerate for 1 hour 2. Bring the beer to a boil and add shrimp 3. Boil until firm and pink, about three minutes 4. Drain 5. Mix sauce ingredients 6. Serve with shrimp 7. Can be served hot or cold |
