Japanese Meals on the Go – Bento Boxes by Naomi Kijima Ingredients:
1 ounce shimeji mushroom |
2 -3 leaves green leaf lettuce |
1/2 teaspoon cooking oil |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
1 teaspoon sake |
1 pinch five-spice powder |
Directions:
1. Trim the roots of the mushrooms and separate into stalks. Cut lettuce into large pieces. 2. Sauté the shimeji in the oil. Add the soy sauce and sake. 3. When hot, toss the lettuce quickly in the pan and remove from heat. Sprinkle with 7 spice powder. |
