Inspired by Taiwanese flavors, these noodles are spicy and tangy. Try substituting the black sesame seeds for the regular type if you like a full-bodied flavor. I like to eat these at room temperature, but they're also good cold. Ingredients:
2 1/2 tablespoons tamari |
2 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar |
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons peanut oil |
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil |
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel |
1 tablespoon hot chinese chili paste |
1 tablespoon chopped pickled ginger |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
4 green onions, sliced |
10 ounces curly chinese noodles, cooked, rinsed, and drained |
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Combine the first ten ingredients. Add green onions to the mixture and let stand while the noodles are prepared. To finish, combine noodles, sesame seeds and sauce. |
