This is my spicy salsa. Fresh salsa is better than anything you get out of a jar and so easy to make. It takes just a few minutes, and even less to make it all disappear. Its a healthy snack too. Ingredients:
6 roma tomatoes |
4 jalapeno peppers |
1/2 medium white inion |
4 thai peppers |
4 cloves of garlic |
1/3 cup fresh cilantro |
2 limes |
2tbsp olive oil |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Dice the onions, rinse under running water 2. half the tomatoes, remove any pulp or seeds 3. dice the tomatoes, add to onions 4. half the peppers, remove the white membranes and seeds 5. dice the peppers, add to mixture 6. dice remaining dry ingredients 7. combine all remaining ingredients 8. mix well, and let sit at room temprature for ~ 15 minutes. 9. If you want more heat add some of the seeds/membranes from the peppers, mix well. 10. serve with tortilla chips |
