Hummus is delicious and healhty, this is one of my favourite ways of preparing hummus. It's quick and easy to prepare and very versatile. Eat with warm pitas, olives, and tomatoes, as a dip for veggies or crackers, or on sandwiches or wraps. Read more .Yum! Ingredients:
2.5 cups chickpeas (canned=1 - 20oz can) |
2-3 cloves of garlic |
2 roasted red peppers |
1-2 roasted or canned jalopeno peppers (for extra heat don't take out seeds) |
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil |
2 tbsp tahini |
juice of 1 lemon |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. In a blender or food processor combine all ingredients except chickpeas and blend until smooth. 2. Add chickpeas, and blend until smooth. 3. Enjoy! |
