Ingredients:
1/3 cup boiling water |
2 cups chopped rhubarb |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Pour boiling water on rhubarb in large mixing bowl. 2. Grease and flour 13 x9 x2 pan. 3. Beat rhubarb and remaining ingredients on low speed, 1 minute, then beat on medium speed, 2 minutes. 4. Pour into pan. 5. Bake at 350 degrees 45 to 50 minutes; cool and frost with your favorite frosting. |
