I found this while I was moving, tell me if you like it. Ingredients:
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon allspice |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1/2 cups pumpkin |
Directions:
1. Combine the two sugars, water, allspice, ginger, cloves and cinnamon in a 4-cup glass measure. 2. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir. 3. Add pumpkin and microwave on high for 5 minutes. 4. Let cool and refrigerate. 5. This will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator or can be frozen. 6. Note: Use this as you would apple butter, or try adding it to whipped cream and garnish a pumpkin pie. |
