This savory soup will warm you on the coldest day, and can help you chase away head colds. Ingredients:
6 large potatoes, cubed |
2 red bell peppers, seeded and diced |
1 1/2 serrano chiles, finely chopped |
salt to taste |
ground black pepper to taste |
1 dash paprika |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
8 cups water |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, fry potatoes in oil until golden brown. 2. Stir in peppers, water, and seasonings. Cover, and simmer until potatoes are tender. |
