Recipe from Bhutan and belongs to Tshering Cigay Dorji . Ingredients:
350 g pork (thigh) |
2 potatoes, peeled |
3 green chilies |
1/2 onion |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
3 garlic cloves (crushed) |
1 piece ginger (finely chopped) |
1/2 tablespoon canola oil |
Directions:
1. Chop pork into chunks (not so small). 2. Add about 400 ml of water in a sauce pan. 3. Add pork and a bit of salt and boil for about 20 mins (Pork should be thoroughly cooked; soft to feel). 4. Cut potatoes longitudinally into 6 or 8 pcs each. Cut chillies longitudinally into 2 pcs each. 5. Add chilli, potato and onion and 1/2 teaspoon of canola oil. 6. Cook until potato is 75% cooked. 7. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 3-4 minutes. |
