Spicy Orange Mango Grilled Shrimp |

I found this while searching the net for shrimp recipes. It sounds wonderful, and very easy! Ingredients:
1 cup mango, diced |
salt, pinch |
white pepper, pinch |
chinese five spice powder, pinch |
1 teaspoon chili paste (or to taste) |
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic |
orange juice |
1 lb shrimp, raw and shelled |
Directions:
1. Puree all ingredients except orange juice in a blender or food processor until very smooth. Slowly add enough orange juice until the puree reaches the consistency of salad dressing. Set a little aside as a dipping sauce if you prefer. 2. Marinate shrimp in the mango orange mixture for no longer than 20 minutes before grilling them over medium heat for a minute or two per side, depending on the size of your shrimp. 3. Enjoy! |
