Spicy Nuts in the Slow Cooker |

a simple recipe for cajun flavored nuts. Ingredients:
1 lb pecan halves |
1 lb walnuts |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes. Turn to low and continue to cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 2 hours. Transfer nuts to a baking sheet and cool completely. |
