Baby carrots with a zip! These are cooked in the microwave for a quick vegetable side. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package baby carrots |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Rinse the carrots and place in a small microwave dish. 2. Microwave for 5 to 6 minutes or until crisp tender/ stirring once. 3. Stir in the butter, nutmeg, garlic salt and red pepper; toss to coat and serve. |
