All nuts should be whole and raw. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons peanut oil |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon low-sodium tamari |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1 dash red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 cup whole almond |
1 cup raw cashews |
1 cup pecan halves |
1 cup raw peanuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. When oil is hot, add garlic and saute until softened, about 10 seconds. Add soy saucy, cumin, curry powder, red-pepper flakes, and chili powder. Stir well. Add mixed nuts and stir until thoroughly coated with spices. 2. Transfer nut mix to a baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently to bake evenly. Remove from oven and cool. Store in an airtight container. |
