Spicy Meatballs with Sesame Dip |

Nice apatizer or side dish Ingredients:
for sesame dip |
2 tbsp. soy sauce |
2 tbsp. dark sesame oil |
1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar |
1 scallion, thinly sliced |
1 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted |
1/4 tsp. ground ginger |
for spicy meatballs |
2 lbs. ground beef 90 |
1 onion, grated |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1 egg, beaten |
1 c. bread crumbs (made from toast) |
2 tbsp. tomato paste |
2 tbsp. paprika |
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped |
1 salt and pepper to taste |
3 tbsp. olive oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Whisk all ingredients together to make sesame dip, and set aside. 2. Combine all meatball ingredients in a bowl. 3. Roll mixture into small balls. 4. Heat oil in a skillet, and cook meatballs, in batches, over medium heat for five minutes on until firm and cooked through. 5. Serve warm with Sesame dip. |
