This sauce has a real kick! Great with grilled chicken or fish. Ingredients:
2 ripe mangoes, flesh of |
1 garlic clove, peeled |
1/4 fresh habanero pepper (careful with these, very hot) |
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat and cook for 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally until the mangoes begin to break down. 2. Puree the mixture in a food processor or blender. 3. Can be served hot or cold. |
