Seitan Ingredients:
1/2 cup of nutritional yeast flakes |
3/10 cups of chickpea flour |
2 tbsp dried stock |
2 tbsp dried onion |
2 tsp ground black pepper |
2 tsp paprika |
1 tsp smoked paprika |
1/2 tsp oregano |
3 cloves garlic |
2 tbsp olive oil |
2 tbsp soy sauce |
1/10 tsp of allspice |
2 3/10 cups of cold water |
Directions:
1. Place 2.3 cups of vital wheat gluten into a bowl. Add all dry ingredients and mix. Put water and all wet ingredients in a jug. Pour into the dry mix and mix lightly with a fork. Place half a cup each on 8 pieces of foil respectively and stem links for 30 mins, no longer. Remove and refrigerate til cold. |
