Can't remember where I got this. But it's a really fun and easy recipe, a great appetizer for most any occasion. It is important you use packaged sausage and not meat counter sausage (I used Jimmy Dean brand) because the consistency is not the same. Ingredients:
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 package hot pork sausage |
3 cups bisquick |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. 2. Mix together all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead well, until a dough forms and all the ingredients are combined. 3. Roll dough into 1 or 2 inch balls and place on a baking sheet with a rim. 4. Bake for 12-15 or until there is no pink in the sausage. 5. You can serve it with any sauce you like, but ketchup and mustard are great with them, too. |
