Inspiration from 'zena824' mushroom fritter 'batter recipe'. I used half of the batter for this recipe and the other half for the Spicy Mushroom Fritters.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup gluten free sr flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon tumeric
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon garum masala
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon for sprinkle on top
dollop of yogurt (yogurt leaves a tart edge on your tastebuds) or cream
1 sliced apple with skin on
1 egg
1/2 cup soy milk
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup water
1 tablesppon oil for frying
Directions:
1. Mix first five ingredients 2. Mix wet ingredients into dry mix. 3. Heat frying pan with oil. 4. Pour half the batter evenly over the pan and add the apple slices. evenly. Add the other half of the batter over the apples.. 5. Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for 3 mins one side 6. Turn over and cook for another 3 mins..
