This one is an original recipe. If you like spicy teas, you'll like this one. The ginger makes it feel like a kick in the mouth. It's also good for upset or queasy stomach due to the soothing effects of the ginger. Anyway, this recipe is best hot and absolutely terrible chilled. I learned that the hard way. Ingredients:
3 teaspoons dried ginger |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon cardamom |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon fennel seed |
1/4 teaspoon anise seed |
Directions:
1. Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later. 2. Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes. 3. Drink as a hot tea. |
