I created this recipe while trying to reproduce a dish served at my favorite Chinese restaurant. These come very close and use just a few handy ingredients.—Jennifer Hoeft, Thorndale, Texas Ingredients:
1 pound fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon canola oil |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, saute the beans, garlic, red pepper flakes and salt in oil for 10-12 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender. Yield: 4 servings. |
