I love Garbanzo beans, and this dish showcases them perfectly! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil |
1 teaspoon whole mustard seeds |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
2 tablespoons tomato paste |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon clove |
2 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a 2 quart saucepan. Add onions and mustard seeds, saute until the onion is tender. 2. Add remaining ingredients, heat about 5 minutes, until beans are heated through. |
