Asian chili sauce and grape jelly give these meatballs a sweet and spicy flavor. Start early, since the meatballs need to cook about five hours in the slow cooker, but once they're in the pot they're entirely hands-off.
Ingredients:
3 lbs casa italian 5/8 oz frozen meatballs (1/2 of the 6 lbs bag or about 75 meatballs)
2 (12 ounce) jars asian chili sauce
1 (12 ounce) jar grape jelly
1/4 cup water
Directions:
1. POUR frozen meatballs into a slow cooker.
2. WISK together chili sauce, grape jelly and water. Pour mixture over meatballs.
3. COOK meatballs on high for 4 1/2 hours or on low for 5 1/2 hours.
4. Prep Time: 4 minutes.
5. Cook Time: 4.5 hours on high or 5.5 hours on low.
6. Makes: about 75 meatballs.
