A Canadial Living original from long time ago Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon hot chili sauce (or more to preference) |
1 teaspoon garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon white vinegar |
1 green onion, chopped |
1 english cucumber, thinly sliced |
2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted |
Directions:
1. Toast seeds: In a non stick skillet, add the seeds. Toast until golden then remove to a glass dish. 2. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, salt, hot sauce, garlic, vinegar and green onion; mix well. 3. Add the cucumber and toss with the mixture until well coated. Sprinkle with the seeds just before serving. |
