Try these for your Holiday gathering! Ingredients:
meatballs |
1 1/2lbs. ground beef |
1/2c. finely chopped onion |
1/2c. dried breadcrumbs; unseasoned |
1tbs. marjoram flakes |
1tsp. hungarian paprika |
1tsp. garlic powder |
1/2tsp. salt |
1/8tsp. white pepper |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
spicy cranberry glaze |
1bag fresh whole cranberries |
1c. sugar |
1/2c. water |
1/2c. lime or lemon juice |
1 bottle (12oz.) chilli sauce |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine al meatball ingredients; blend well. Shape into 1-inch balls; place in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan 2. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until meatballs are browned and no longer pink in center. 3. Glaze: 4. Combine in saucepan: water, juice, sugar; bring to a boil. Add cranberries, allow to pop then remove from heat , add bottle of chilli sauce. 5. Add meatballs to sauce; stir to coat. Cook over med. heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Enjoy! |
