This is a recipe I found in Southern Living... its a wonderful addition to any party or back yard bash!!!! Ingredients:
1/2 small sweet onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon olive oil |
1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened |
1 can jumbo lump crabmeat, rinsed and drained (6 oz) |
1 to 2 tablespoons adobo sauce (from canned chipotles) |
10 smoked almonds, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Stir together onion, cream cheese, crabmeat, and adobo sauce. 2. Cover and chill 2 hours. 3. Shape mixture into a ball; roll top in almonds. 4. Chill until ready to serve. 5. Serve with fresh veggies or crackers. |
