spicy side dish that is also great for topping off fish tacos. Ingredients:
1 medium head cabbage, chopped |
2 small carrots, grated |
1/2 small onion, sliced thin |
1/2 t red pepper flakes |
1/2 t oregano |
1 t olive oil |
1 t salt |
1 t brown sugar |
1/4 c vinegar |
1/2 c water |
Directions:
1. Blanch the cabbage in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and place in a large bowl. 2. Add carrots, onion, red pepper, oregano, olive oil. salt brown sugar, vinegar and water. 3. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving 4. 1 Cup serving has 41 calories |
