Fresh yet spicy! Great for Parties! Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups frozen peas |
2 ripe avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled |
1 -2 tablespoon lime juice |
1/4 cup chopped red onion |
1 garlic clove |
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro |
1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to a bowl. Add peas: Simmer frozen peas for 1 minute. Drain, and rinse with cold water. Drain again and cool. 2. Place avocados and lime juice in a medium bowl and mash avocados with a fork. 3. Add peas, Chopped onions, Chopped cilantro, and sliced jalapenos. 4. Season to taste with salt. 5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. |
