Spicy Chicken in Crock Pot |

Similar to the Chinese restaurant but a lot easier to make, chicken is not breaded but still tastes good to me. Ingredients:
1/3 cup tamari soy sauce |
2 teaspoons garlic, minced |
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced |
4 tablespoons hoisin sauce |
1/3 cup honey |
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar |
2 lbs chicken breasts, cubed |
8 dried red peppers |
2 cups broccoli, chopped |
1 cup carrot, sliced |
2 cups cooked rice, steamed |
Directions:
1. In crock pot add tamari, garlic, ginger, hoisin, honey and rice vinegar mixing well. 2. Add chicken and red peppers stirring well. 3. Cook on low for 6 hours. 4. Add broccoli and carrots and cook for 1 hour longer. 5. Serve over steamed rice. 6. Enjoy. |
