This is a recipe from my Idol Ina Garten, The Barefoot Contessa . It's something different than having mix nuts out for your guest. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
3 cups whole unsalted roasted cashews |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon kosher salt or 1 teaspoon sea salt |
Directions:
1. Place a medium-size saute pan over medium heat. 2. Add olive oil and cashews and toss to coat. 3. Add chili powder, salt, and pepper and toss until warmed through. 4. Remove from heat and serve. 5. They will crisp as they sit. |
