squid Ingredients:
450 g squid rings |
3 tablespoons red pepper flakes |
4 tablespoons tomato paste |
3 garlic cloves, chopped (or more to taste) |
1 tbsp parsley |
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
1 dash salt |
1 dash black pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a wok or shallow saute pan. 2. Add chopped garlic to the oil and cook until the garlic begins to become translucent or browns up a little. 3. Add the calamari. 4. Add tomato paste, red pepper, salt, pepper, 5. Saute on medium heat for 8 minutes. 6. Add a handful of italian parsley. 7. Saute on medium heat for 2 more minutes. 8. Serve with some additional parsley over pasta. |
