I received a booklet from Kraft Foods today which is called food & family and this is one of the recipes in it that I am posting here to try at a later date. Perfect for game day! Ingredients:
2 ounces kraft 2% cheddar cheese |
24 triscuit crackers |
1/4 cup taco bell home originals refried beans |
1/4 cup taco bell home originals thick 'n chunky salsa |
black olives (optional) |
reduced-fat sour cream (optional) |
Directions:
1. Cut cheese into 6 slices; cut each slice crosswise in half. Top each of 12 crackers with 1 teaspoon beans, 1 piece cheese and 1 teaspoon salsa. Cover with remaining crackers. 2. Place 6 topped crackers on microwaveable plate. Microwave on high 10 to 15 seconds or until cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining crackers. 3. Jazz it up: garnish with black olive slices and reduced fat sour cream. |
