A fantastic alternative to those fast food version of french fries. Don't be fooled since this uses one small potato. Twice as much fries compared to small versions I've seen at fast food joints. Serves one with only 207 calories.
Ingredients:
1 small potato, baked with flesh
1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Wash and dry one small potato
3. Mix paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and extra virgin olive oil into a small bowl. Since I did not have onion or garlic powder I simply grated the garlic and onion.
4. Take potato and cut the ends off. Cut in half followed by cutting those halves into halves. If you'd like, slice off the big sides as well. Cut remaining potatoes into desirable sized strips.
5. Coat the potatoes individual and don't over do it. If you do then there wont be enough for all.
6. Place into oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Be sure to turn them over once around 20 minutes.
