I like to make these for football get-togethers Ingredients:
1 pound jimmy dean pork sausage |
1 onion, chopped |
2 28-oz cans bold-and-spicy baked beans |
1 15-oz can black beans, drained |
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained |
3 cups barbecue sauce |
1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar |
1/4 cup yellow mustard |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper |
2 or 3 dashes tabasco sauce (or to taste) |
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) |
Directions:
1. Brown pork sausage. 2. Drain, reserving 2 teaspoons drippings 3. Combine sausage, drippings and remaining ingredients in a baking dish. 4. Bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes or until thickened and bubbly |
