This started as a seafood chili, but morphed into a stew Ingredients:
2 cans chopped tomatoes with green chilis |
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed |
1 can garbonzo beans, drained and rinsed |
1 bottle clam juice |
1 bottle lager beer |
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped |
2 tablespoons smoked spanish paprika |
2 tablespoons sweet anaheim chili powder |
1 1/2 pounds of catfish |
1/2 pound of shrimp, peeled |
1 can minced clams |
1 red onion, chopped |
1 red pepper, seeded, and chopped |
2 medium poblano peppers, seeded and chopped |
3 green onions, chopped |
garlic, salt, pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Sautee onions, peppers, garlic, in a pan until tender 2. Combine everything in a crock pot 3. heat until boiling, then simmer for remainder of time |
