You can make the dip ahead, but add the green onions just before serving. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons coriander seeds |
1 teaspoon cumin seeds |
1 teaspoon caraway seeds |
1 teaspoon ground turmeric |
1 teaspoon ground red pepper |
2 cups plain fat-free yogurt |
1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onions |
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon honey |
1/4 teaspoon sea salt |
Directions:
1. Place the first 3 ingredients in a spice or coffee grinder, and process until finely ground. 2. Place spice mixture, turmeric, and pepper in a small skillet over medium heat; cook 1 minute or until fragrant. 3. Combine spice mixture, yogurt, and remaining ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring to combine. |
