These scream Christmas to me. My mom used to make them every year at Christmas time. They're just DIFFERENT! :) In a good way of course! :) I'm GUESSING on the cooking time, because I don't time myself when I make them!!! Sorry!! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
6 tablespoons milk |
4 cups walnut pieces |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Boil together the sugar, cinnamon, ginger and milk to a very soft ball stage. 2. Add walnuts and vanilla. 3. Stir until it thickens and coats the walnuts. 4. Turn out onto waxed paper. 5. Seperate the nuts. |
