A pleasantly warm chili, spicy but not overly hot. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey |
1/2 lb ground sirloin |
8 ounces chili beans |
16 ounces black beans |
4 garlic cloves (minced) |
1 medium onion |
28 ounces diced tomatoes |
3 tablespoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons ground cloves |
2 tablespoons cumin |
1/4 green pepper (diced) |
1/4 red pepper (diced) |
1 tablespoon olive oil (evoo) |
Directions:
1. Brown ground turkey with the sirloin. Dice onions and add into beef along with garlic. Saute until translucent. 2. Drain black beans. 3. Add the remainder of the ingredients to a large pot. Simmer for a couple hours. |
