A quick and easy beverage to enjoy on a cold night of festivities. Ingredients:
2 cups water |
3 bags unflavored black tea |
4 whole cloves |
5 cinnamon sticks (3 inch) |
1 cup cranberry juice |
3 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Boil water. 2. add tea bags, cloves, one cinnamon stick and reduce heat. 3. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. 4. Remove tea bags, cloves, and cinnamon stick. 5. Stir in cranberry juice, lemon and honey. 6. Heat completely. 7. Serve in four mugs and garnish with cinnamon sticks. |
