I thought someone might like this. Just guess on cook time. This is added on Sept 7 not 2 days ago. Ingredients:
2 (29-ounce) cans cling peach halves |
1 1/3 cup sugar |
1 cup cider vinegar |
4 cinnamon sticks |
2 teaspoons whole cloves |
Directions:
1. Drain peaches, reserving syrup. 2. Combine peach syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves in a saucepan; bring to boiling; lower heat and simmer 10 minutes. Pour hot syrup over peach halves and let cool. 3. Chill thoroughly before serving. 4. Store in refrigerator. 5. Yield: about 4 pints. |
