From Coastal Carolina Cooking- 1958- Myrtle Beach, SC Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups orange juice |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk |
3 egg yolks |
3 egg whites |
1 cup water |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Combine juice, sugar, milk and water. Beat egg yolks; add milk mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in to mix. Serve in tall ice filled glasses. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. |
