quick and different but oh so tasty Ingredients:
1 - 16 oz pkg frozen prepared italian-style meatballs |
3 cups green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces - or |
frozen cut green beans |
2 cups peeled baby carrots |
1 - 14.5 oz can beef broth |
2 tsp worcestershire sauce |
1/2 to 3/4 tsp ground allspice |
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon |
2 - 14.5 oz cans stewed tomatoes |
Directions:
1. In a 4-quart Dutch oven, combine the meatballs, green beans, carrots, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, allspice, and cinnamon. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. 3. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes 4. Stir in the undrained tomatoes. 5. Return to boiling, then reduce the heat 6. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes more or until the vegetables are crisp-tender |
