Ingredients:
1 lb seedless grapes |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup water |
1 cinnamon stick |
2 star anise |
5 whole cloves |
12 black peppercorns |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except grapes in a small saucepan and boil for two to three minutes. 2. Pierce each grape two to three times with a sharp skewer or toothpick. 3. Place grapes in a small bowl and cover with the syrup mixture. 4. Refrigerate for 24 to 36 hours. 5. Serve with cheese or nuts. |
