This is one of the many recipes I came up with on my own while experimenting with my various tea herbs. This particular blend is good for helping one fall asleep since it has a high proportion of chamomile (a known relaxant) in it. Also, my boyfriend really likes this blend and he doesn't like the taste of chamomile. So you know it's gotta be good. Please note that it tastes best as a hot tea. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons dried chamomile |
1 teaspoon dried ginger |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon cardamom |
Directions:
1. Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later. 2. Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes. |
