Spiced Cauliflower (Chourfleur M'charmel) |

From The North Africian Kitchen Ingredients:
1 cauliflower, broken into florets |
1 bunch flat leaf parsley, finely chopped |
4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed |
1 teaspoon sweet paprika |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2-1 teaspoon harissa |
1/2 cup water |
1 -2 tablespoon lemon juice |
3 -6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients, except lemon juice and olive oil in a large sauce pan. 2. Cover and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes or until the cauliflower is very soft. 3. Remove the cauliflower from the pan, then mash with a fork. 4. Add the lemon juice and olive oil. 5. Serve at room temperature. |
