These are a wonderful change from carrots with butter only. I have a hard time getting my kids to eat carrots, but they love them this way! Ingredients:
4 cups baby carrots |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Steam carrots until tender crisp. 2. Drain. 3. Add remaining ingredients. 4. Stir until butter is melted through. 5. Can be re-heated when ready to serve. |
