Nice flair for beets, the humdrum root vegetable. You can sub sliced beets if you wish but cut the baking time to 15 minutes Ingredients:
1 large can of small whole beets (you can sub sliced beets if you wish but cut the baking time to 15 minutes) |
1 tbl butter or 1 tbl evoo (extra virgin olive oil and 1/4 tsp lemon pepper) |
1 tsp prepared horseradish |
1/4 tsp mustard (dijon or spicy brown) |
pinch of seasoned salt |
Directions:
1. drain the beets 2. mix butter (or evoo and lemon pepper), horseradish, mustard and salt 3. place beets in a covered casserole dish 4. pour mix over beets 5. Bake at 350 Degrees F for 30 minutes for whole beets or 15 minutes for sliced beets |
