Spiced Balsamic Chicken Breasts |

Easy, carb-friendly, and tasty. Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/8 cup reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth |
1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar |
Directions:
1. Place chicken between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet until 1/2-inch thick. 2. Combine garlic, thyme, salt and pepper; rub one side of each piece of chicken. 3. Brown chicken in butter for 8-10 minutes or until done, turning once halfway through cooking. 4. Remove chicken from pan and keep warm. 5. Add broth to pan; heat 1 minute. 6. Remove from heat; stir in vinegar. 7. Pour sauce over chicken and serve. |
