I don't remember who I got this recipe from. This is great served warm or cold and makes a wonderful addition to hot cereal. Core (the tapioca is NOT Core, but only 2 pt. for the whole recipe) or 1 (or two .. please double check!) points Ingredients:
16 cups sliced apples, peeled or unpeeled |
1/4 cup splenda sugar substitute |
1/4 cup twin brown sugar substitute |
3 tablespoons minute tapioca |
2 teaspoons apple pie spice or 2 teaspoons cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Layer half of sliced apples, sugars, tapioca, spice in slow cooker. 2. Repeat, making a second layer using remaining ingredients. 3. Cover. 4. Cook on high 4 hours or on low 5 hours. 5. Stir and serve! |
