This is one of the many recipes I came up with on my own while experimenting with my various tea herbs. As you can probably guess, due to the anise and the fennel, the flavor will remind you a lot of licorice. If you like that flavor then you'll surely enjoy this blend. Anyway, it's good hot or chilled. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon anise seed |
1 teaspoon fennel seed |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla bean |
1 teaspoon clove |
Directions:
1. Cut the vanilla bean into small pieces first. 2. Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later. 3. Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes. |
